The Services are built upon relationships with a variety of third-party merchants and service providers (“partners”). In many situations, our partners sell items and/or provide content or services to you through the Services, and, in other situations, we provide services jointly with our partners (such services collectively, “partner services”). We may share data with our partners to provide partner services. However, please remember that the manner in which partners use, store and/or disclose your information is governed by the policies of such partners, and the Company shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any partners. Generally, you can easily recognize when one of our partners is associated with a service (e.g., particular salon with which an appointment is booked). However, certain partners may provide services anonymously (e.g., partner acting as a go-between to accomplish such booking), and, in this case, we will only share information that is directly related to such transaction.
“Personal information” is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person. Personal information we collect through the Services includes name, photograph, mailing and/or billing address, company name and/or title, email address, phone number, birthday, age, password and/or other registration information.
We receive and store personal information you enter in the Services or specifically provide to us in a number of ways. For example, we may use links throughout the Services to provide you with the opportunity to contact us via email to ask questions, request information and materials or provide comments and suggestions. You may also be offered the opportunity to have one of our representatives contact you personally to provide additional information about our services. To do so, we may request additional personal information from you, such as your name and phone number, to help us satisfy your request. When you use the “subscribe” link on the Site or register for the Services, we may collect personal information you submit, such as your email address. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you will not be able to use many of the features offered unless you register with us.
In order to take advantage of partner services, you may need to authenticate, register for or log into such services through the Services. When you do so, we collect information necessary to enable the Services to access that partner service and your data and content contained within that partner service (“login credentials”).
When you register with us and use the Services, you may be requested to provide certain information, including, but not limited to: (a) personal information; (b) information on your company, if applicable; (c) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, book appointments, respond to any offers or use applications from us; (d) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (e) credit card or other payment information for transactions within Unapp; (f) login credentials; and/or (g) other information you enter into our system, such as contact and other profile information (subsections (a) through (g) collectively, “user-provided data”).
Whenever you visit or interact with the Site, we, as well as our service providers, may use assorted technologies that automatically or passively collect information about how the Site is accessed and used. We refer to this information as “traffic data.” Traffic data may include, but is not limited to: (a) browser type; (b) device type used to access the Site (i.e., computer or mobile device); (c) unique number assigned to identify such device; (d) device operating system; (e) device application version; (f) click path taken through the Site; (g) your use of features or applications on the Site; and/or (h) other publicly available information. This information helps us improve the Site, as well as our other products and services. Traffic data is generally non-identifying, but, if we associate it with you as an identifiable person, we will treat it as personal information.
Technologies we use on the Site to collect traffic data may include cookies (data files placed on your computer or other devices used to access the Site), mobile analytics software and/or pixel tags (transparent graphic image, sometimes called a web beacon or tracking beacon, placed on a web page or in an email, which indicates that a page or email has been viewed). We may utilize a short-lived form of cookie when you visit the Site. A cookie is used to identify one unique visitor from another visitor during a particular session. A “session” is the period of active Site-use while that unique visitor is linked to our server. We may use cookie technology during a session as a tool to carry forward your input information. This enables the visitor to input their information once and have the information appear later. No personal information is stored on the cookie. A pixel tag may tell your browser to get content from another server. We, or our vendors, may place cookies or similar files on your computer or other devices used to access the Site for security purposes, to facilitate Site navigation and to personalize your experience while visiting the Site.
To learn how you may be able to reduce the number of cookies you receive from us, or delete cookies that have already been installed in your browser’s cookie folder, please refer to your browser’s help menu or other instructions related to your browser. If you do disable or opt out of receiving cookies, please be aware that some features and services on the Site may not work as intended, and you may not have access to all of the services and features we may offer.
In addition, Unapp may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to: (a) device type used to access the app; (b) your device’s unique device ID; (c) your device’s unique mobile platform advertising identifier, such as Apple’s “Identifier for Advertising ID” or Google’s “Android Advertising ID” (“mobile advertising identifiers”); (d) the IP address of your device; (e) device operating system; (f) mobile browser type; (g) depending upon your operating system, the identity of some or all of the other mobile apps downloaded onto your device; (h) the ways you use the Services; and/or (i) location data (for more information regarding location data, see the section below titled “Does Unapp Collect Real-Time Location Information”) (subsections (a) through (i) collectively, together with traffic data, “automatically-collected data”).
“Do Not Track” (“DNT”) is a preference you can set in your browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You may be able to enable or disable DNT by visiting the settings page of your browser. Unapp does not have a native browser but may open a website within the app using your default mobile browser. We do not control, modify or establish rules about the DNT settings of your browser. Third parties, other than our service providers, do not have authorization from us to track which websites you visited prior to and after visiting your browser. That said, we cannot control third-party tracking, and there may be some third-party tracking that occurs without our knowledge or consent.
For iOS devices with iOS 7 or higher: open Settings > select Privacy > select Advertising > enable Limit Ad Tracking; or
For Android devices with OS 2.2 or higher and Google Play Services version 4.0 or higher: Open the Google Settings app > select Ads > enable Opt out of interest-based advertising.
Please note, however, that opting out of mobile advertising identifier collection may prevent certain Services from functioning properly.
We collect and use data for a variety of business purposes, including to provide the Services that you request, to respond to your requests, to communicate with you about the Services and to do all things necessary to administer the Services, and manage, protect and improve them.
We may also use the information you provide us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and/or marketing promotions. However, we will neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone for their own use.
If you provide your phone number to us, we, or a partner, may send you periodic text messages through an automatic telephone dialing system. These may include messages to provide the Services (e.g., phone number verification or two-factor authentication), operational messages about features and updates to the Services or messages from businesses with which you have interacted through the Services. Standard text message and data rates will apply. You are not required to agree to receive text messages in order to use the Services. You may unsubscribe from text messages by following the instructions contained in any such message.
Our email communications are permission-based. If you received an email from us, our records indicate that you have expressly shared your email address for the purpose of receiving information in the future, have registered for the Services or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. If you believe that we have sent you unsolicited email, please forward a copy of that email, along with your comments, to firstname.lastname@example.org for review.
Yes, Unapp and certain Services are location-based and thus need your location to function properly. When you open and use Unapp, we use the location information from your mobile device, with your express consent if the applicable device operating system so requires, to tailor the Services to your current location, e.g., showing you a list of nearby businesses or providing a location-based service. This data is collected using various technologies, such as location services of the applicable mobile device and operating system or sensor data from your mobile device that may, for example, provide information on nearby Wi-Fi access points, Bluetooth devices and/or cell towers. Your real-time location is not shared with others, except as set forth below. Unapp may use your mobile device’s “background location” to provide the Services, including to send you notifications related to location. The “background location” functionality allows Unapp to tell us about your mobile device’s location even if you are not directly interacting with the app.
If you do not want us to use your location, you should turn off the location services for Unapp located in your account settings and/or in your mobile device settings. Please note, however, that location data is required in order for Unapp to function properly.
We may disclose data:
to protect the security and integrity of the Services, to correct technical problems and malfunctions on the Services, to technically process your information, to provide services and/or to take precautions against liability;
to our services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them;
if requested by law enforcement agencies, to respond to a government request or if we are required to do so by law, treaty, regulation, subpoena, court order or by a government entity; and/or
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, liquidation, change of control or sale of all or a portion of its assets, data may be transferred as a business asset. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice of any change in ownership or use of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
Your real-time location may be shared with a partner, but only if directly related to the provision of a specific service and for the limited purpose of that service only, e.g., to offer you a discount based on frequent visits or to help you arrange transportation.

If you need to correct, update, delete or deactivate your personal information, please update such information within the applicable account settings page in the Services or by sending an email to email@example.com. We may not be able to correct or update third-party data.
You can stop all future collection of information by Unapp by uninstalling the app. You may use the standard uninstall process as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the applicable app marketplace or network.
If you receive any promotional email from us, you will be given the option to “unsubscribe” from receiving further emails from us at any time. Your option not to receive promotional and marketing material will not preclude us from corresponding with you, by email or otherwise, regarding your existing or past business relationships with us and will not preclude us from accessing and viewing your personal information in the course of maintaining and improving the Services.
If you should desire to delete your Unapp account, you may do so by selecting the “Delete Account” button on your account settings page in Unapp. If you delete your account, your data will be removed as set forth herein. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will retain information as required by applicable law and will not delete any information that has already been aggregated or anonymized.
We will retain data for as long as you use the Services and for a reasonable time thereafter. We may store aggregated or anonymous data indefinitely. If you’d like us to delete user-provided data that you have provided via the Services, please do so within the applicable Service or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the user-provided data may be required in order for the Services to function properly.
We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information but cannot guarantee the security of your information. We provide physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to: (a) authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop and/or improve the Services; and (b) third parties that must receive that information in order to facilitate provision of the Services. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure and/or other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.
We do not use the Services to knowingly solicit data from, or market to, children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to request from a business with which the California resident has an established business relationship what types of personal information, if any, the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third parties and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
